The Refuge offers the following sleeping accommodations:
- Dormitory: 6 beds in total
- Private rooms: double or triple rooms
It is possible to book an entire private room even for fewer guests (e.g. booking 2 beds in a triple room) by paying for the full room capacity.
This is not possible for the entire dormitory.
The bed rate includes:
- Half-board accommodation, i.e. dinner and breakfast (drinks at dinner are not included). Vegetarian and gluten-free options are always available at meals; guests are responsible for informing the staff of their needs so they can be guided in their choices.
- All beds are provided with a pillow with pillowcase, mattress cover, and a light duvet.
- Private rooms are equipped with a heavy duvet.
- Guests staying in the dormitory are advised to bring a sleeping sheet (liner). A sleeping bag is not required, but this depends on individual needs and personal perception of temperature.
- Wool blankets are available in the wardrobes on each floor.
- Bathrooms are shared, located on the same floor and outside the dormitories.
During the overnight stay, the following paid services may be added:
- Shower service, subject to availability and to be purchased at the Refuge desk; available from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Shower availability cannot be guaranteed in case of water shortages, a situation that has occurred since 2021 due to drought. Cost: €8 (30 liters of hot water, approx. 3–4 minutes).
- Packed lunch, available upon request at the Refuge desk, subject to the Refuge’s availability.
- Luggage or bicycle storage, available upon request and to be indicated at the time of reservation in the “Notes” section; feasibility must be agreed and confirmed directly at the desk at check-in.
- Drinks during meals.
The following times must be strictly observed:
- Check-in: from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Dinner: 7:00 pm
- Breakfast: 7:00 am
According to regulations, all lights must be switched off by 10:00 pm. After this time, no electricity will be available, as the Refuge is powered by generators.
- Check-out: by 9:00 am
* Guests arriving after the indicated check-in time are required to inform us in advance.
Bookings are open and can be made independently by following the instructions on our website.
At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure the beds.
(A legal note justifying the non-refundable nature of the deposit will be added here.)
The balance of the reservation must be paid on site at check-in, preferably in cash or by electronic payment.
Guests are kindly requested to bring the receipt of the deposit payment to facilitate settlement of the balance at check-in.
Cash payment is recommended, as electronic payment may not always be guaranteed. Please note that the Refuge is located at an altitude of 2,333 meters, where weather conditions may affect connectivity.
CAI members are entitled to a discounted rate, corresponding to a 20% discount on the standard rate.
Guests must declare their eligibility for the discount at the time of booking and present a valid CAI membership card at check-in; otherwise, the full rate will be charged.
The deposit is also required for CAI members; the discount will be applied to the final balance paid on site.
Overnight stays with dogs are allowed only in private rooms.
Reservations for groups of more than 6 people are handled by our office.
