The main and easiest access is by car from Misurina (1750 m) paying a toll along the scenic route which is 7 kilometers long. The road leads you to the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and is 25  kilometers far from Auronzo di Cadore, 18 from Cortina and 16 from Alta Pusteria. The scenic route is open from the end of May to the end of October.

Another access is from Val Marzon on the right side of the main road 48 leading to Misurina about 6 km from the village of Auronzo; you can go along an asphalt road for about 5 km as far as Cason della Crosera (1350 m.) and then walk up a  tiring path (no. 1104) and get to the Alpine Hut in about two hours and a half.

Other access routes are possible from the nearby huts along many, scenic paths:

• from the hut Drei Zinnen – Locatelli up col “Col di Mezzo” (2 hours, path 105) or through col “Lavaredo” and Lavaredo Hut (1 hour and a half, path 101);
• from the huts Città di Carpi and/or Fonda Savio through the Cadini di Misurina and the equipped route “A. Bonacossa” (no. 117);
• from Landro lake (1,400 m) along the Rienza valley (no.102) up to the hut Drei Zinnen Locatelli or up the  Rinbianco valley as far as Casera Rinbianco (path no. 103) and from here along the scenic route or up the path parallel to it;
• and again from the huts Carducci or Zsigmondy-Comici past Pian di Cengia Hut (paths 101 and 104).
